Some facts about Neal:
-Neal has three ex-wives and a son named Killian.
-Wives are: College Sweetheart, his Bad Bad Girl, Beauty Queen Cheerleader (he cant remember which one she was.)
-He has the one son... THAT HE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT LEGIT KNOWS IS HIS. I'm up for him having a whole brood of kids that you know... he got around a lot :)
-He has two homes: a family home as well as his apartment (which is where he spends most of his time. And the only place he brings lovers to.)
-Neal has proposed four times in his life. He's a sucker for marriage.
-Former Prosecutor. Partner in a major law firm.
-Loves the law and puzzles.
-He is a grade A asshole and has grade A magical wards. He's pissed off people, he's not dumb and he has personal wards of protections on threaded charms (metal charms tied with knots to keep the spells in place.) They protect him from middle-minor league harm.
-He has had... a lot of lovers, girlfriends, mistresses, partners, wives.


Some potential connections:
-Former ex-lovers.
-Friends. He surely has some?
-Children he doesn't know about!
-Anyone who works in the police/political/law scene.

I feel like Neal and Levi would get along rather well considering Levi's law background and the fact that Levi always knows for sure if his client is guilty and how to get the perfect evidence. I could see him being willing to work with Neal to make sure someone accused of a crime that's actually innocent isn't put in jail or even recommending Neal to people who are innocent but accused of crimes and it looks bad.

Clint would probably hate Neal except that seems like the sort of thing that Neal likes and Clint wouldn't give him the satisfaction. But seriously he hates the guy.

OH A CHALLENGE LEVI? Bring it, he will be very good at distracting his clients with making them listen to mindnumbing loops of GANGNAM STYLE and getting his evidence thrown out of court. And if that all else fails, present the best case he has to the jury.
But seriously he will just grin at Levi and be all HEY HOW'S YOUR RECORD CHAMP, GOOD ARREST SCORE- HOW'S THE CONVICTION RATE THOUGH? :D :D

Levi is now Champ okay. This is a thing, we're making it happen. But he will gladly take referrals of innocent parties while complaining to Levi that he's going to make him go broke at this rate.

Neal would love provoking Clint especially as he was definitely a prosecutor, and a FANTASTIC one at that, when Clint was being a cop so you know Neal's a traitor and all that.

Friends is good! And I realized that Neal is a bit like Levi often pretends to be. I imagine Levi used to sit in on Neal's trials to watch him perform and sort of patterned part of his "persona" off of Neal seeing as how Levi likes to flirt and rile people up on purpose.

Within the last five years? I figure Neal was probably happily married for a year before he started to stray and then slowly started to flirt and talk law with Lou. And I don't know I think they were seeing each other for a while before it all fell apart?

So maybe they ended within the last 1-2 years maybe? What do you think?

And also, Neal is a fucking smooth liar liar who lies. The third wife as well would've stuck to LA more than itty bitty Siren Cove, so he probably commuted a lot at weekends for "work purposes" or would go out to LA a couple of weeks at a time. So, he really did (likeanasshole) have two very separate lives.

So, Lou you're not ignorant. He's just an asshole.

I feel like Neal may have met Owen before.

If he went to a number of parties in the Siren Cove area, Owen used to be hired to accompany people to said parties. Maybe there could have been a joke about them both attending with different partners every time.

I don't know if you'd be interested (or if that even made sense), but that seems to be where my brain is going.

OMG. The best part of that statement is that Owen was not cheap so I imagine most of his 'dates' wouldn't be up for abandoning him, (not that Owen would mind, he'd still be paid and Neal could do the work).

Oh, Alodia thinks he's an asshole and doesn't trust him at all, but she does some mean protection wards, so they could possibly know each other that way?

Jacob also thinks he's an asshole, buuuuuuuut he's a freelance PI and can't exactly not take jobs because he doesn't like the client, so if Neal needs someone to dig up dirt on prosecution witnesses or w/e, maybe he hires Jacob?

He is an asshole, he does good things as well but being an asshole works for him. But yes, definitely please give him some mean protection wards because then if they fail he can tell her and be all "its an insult on your honour as a witch."
Also, he will obnoxiously hit on her because well, he's an asshole. But at the same time if she needs legal representation he will be her white knight because you know he can.

HE WILL HIRE JACOB. :D
And give him an affectionate nickname that probably irritates Jacob no end.
