Looking up from his case load, Neal flicked through his texts and missed calls. Jaw tightening, he took a deep inhale in to calm and centre himself before he picked up his sunglasses. Covering the darkening eyes, Neal picked up his papers and slid them into his suitcase before telling his assistant to clear his schedule for the afternoon. It looked like he was paying a home visit to a potential new client.

Neal wasn't controlling, not say like his friend Robert was but Neal didn't like people messing with those he considered his. Under his fins of protection or well, he just plain didn't like bullies. Never had, whether they were trying to pick on him or trying to pick on one of his kids. Bullies didn't last long in Neal's town and Neal wasn't going to let one more take advantage of someone. Someone that Neal himself wanted to take advantage of albeit in an entirely different way.

Leaning against the door to Davin's place, Neal knocked loudly and waited for one moment before calling.

"You know it doesn't pay to leave a gentleman caller waiting around on the doorstep, what would the neighbours say." Neal drawled, unbuttoning his jacket as he waited for the door to open.
