The Boardwalk [OPEN]
Feb. 21st, 2015 10:08 pmStanding at the end of the boardwalk, Neal leaned against the railings and stared down into the cold, still winter waters. Spring would be upon them soon, his trouble free waters would be filled soon with tourists and... kids. Kind of hard to think about kids at the moment, not after his seemed... well, Killian rarely ever wanted anything to do with him and know Les knew. Which was apparently the worst news in the world.
"Father of the year goes to..." Neal murmured sighing as he rubbed his jaw. Still he had a long way to go before he fucked up as much as Robert. But then, really, so did everyone. He really didn't need to start measuring up his fatherhood screw ups against Robert's. It wasn't a competition he wanted to win. Although he was still just as competitive with his friend, and client, as ever.
Sending Killian another text about needing to talk, Neal pushed his hands in his pocket and headed back down the boardwalk. Maybe a swim would clear his head or a drink. Or maybe just a good, long, hard fuck. Not like he could fuck his life up any more than he already had.
